QC NARRATIVE(S) <br />Subject: General Comments: <br />I arrived on site at 0745. Met with Mike Regli at the front gate. I escorted <br />him to the site where he will wait for Natrure Crete representative Dave. They <br />will be constructing forms for concrete pad. I received a call from National <br />Rent -a -fence. They will be arriving with the temporary fencing early this <br />afternoon. I then received a call from Allison Youngblood at approximately <br />0945 informing me that the permit has been approved for the UST removal at <br />bldg. 330. She also reminded me that she will need a 48 hr notice prior to the <br />removal. Nature Crete arrived at approximately 0930. We conducted a brief <br />safety meeting prior to their starting work. I left the site at approximately <br />1045 and went to the Tracy Depot facility. I called Don Valentine earlier to <br />let him know that I would be visiting with him today to download the QCMS <br />reports. I arrived at approximately 1130. 1 tried to download the necessary <br />information, but was unable to do so. Something with the program. We finally <br />needed to call Fred Martin. Problem solved. I gave Dan the hard copies and a <br />disk that contained the in/out information up to 4/18/01. <br />I went to the Stockton County office to pick up the permit at approximately <br />1355hrs. <br />I arrived back on site at 1445 and took some progress pad photographs. Don <br />visited the job site at approximately 1400hrs. All is well. He was informed <br />that concrete will be placed tomorrow at approximately 1000hrs. <br />National Fence arrived at 1500hrs. There was 192 LF of fencing erected. <br />Subject: Safety Inspections/Meetings: <br />General safety rules were reviewed prior to start of work. Topics included <br />lifting, twisting and bending techniques. Workers were also reminded to follow <br />the tool handling rules. Slips trips and falls were also reviewed. <br />Subject: Safety: Corrective Action taken: <br />The cord that was damaged was red tagged and taken out of commission. <br />Subject: Safety: Inspections made, Deficiencies noted: <br />Don noticed that a broken section in one of our extension cords. <br />8.
