The S1 - 87 product line vacuum sensor has been in vacuum alarm since at least 1/1/12 and <br />was in alarm during the inspection. The interstitial space of the UST system shall be maintained, as <br />designed, under constant vacuum such that a breach in the primary or secondary containment is <br />detected before the hazardous substance is released into the environment. Correct immediately by <br />having a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor replace the failed component with a <br />functional component (LG 113-x listed, if applicable) and obtain a permit within one business day from <br />the EHD. If the failed component can't be replaced/repaired immediately, there is a possibility that the <br />87 product UST system may be red tagged by the EHD to prevent fuel inputs. <br />Notes <br />1. Complete the following by March 3, 2012 and send to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department: <br />a. The Return to Compliance Certification form. <br />b. A statement explaining how each violation was corrected. <br />c. Supporting documentation. <br />2.
