DETECTION METHOD Tanks - Statistical Inventory Reconciliation (SIR) and Biennial Tank Integrity Testing in accordance with SWRCB LG-123-1 and Section 2643 (c)(1), Article 4, Title 23, CCR. lanes - Automatic Pressure Line Leak Detectors and Annual Line Tightness Testing in accordance with Section 2643 (d)(1) and (3), Article 4, Title 23, CCR. 2 . MONITORING EQUIPMENT The Automatic line leak detectors shall be maintained and inspected according to the manufacturer's instructions by an outside contractor once during each calendar year. 3 . MONITORING PROCEDURE - Statistical Inventory Reconciliation Inventory reconciliation shall be performed in compliance with the details of SWRCB LG-123-1 . Q Inventory volume measurements for product inputs, withdrawals, and the amount remaining in the tank shall be recorded daily. B. The equipment used to take inventory readings shall be in good working order and capable of measuring the product level over the full range of the tank's height to the nearest one-eighth of an inch. C. Product inputs shall be reconciled with delivery receipts by measurement of the tank inventory volume before and after delivery. D. Deliveries shall be made through a drop tube that extends to within six inches of the tank bottom. E Meters used for determining inputs and withdrawals shall comply with CCR, Title 4, Chapter 9, Subchapter 1, "Tolerances and specifications for commercial weighing and measuring devices." Meters shall be inspected by the County Department of Weights and Measures or a device repairman as defined in the California Business and Professions Code, Division 5, Chapter 5.5.
