Veeder-Root is re( <br />approval for the following locations: <br />* Previous back-up R&D site was the Chevron station located at 7901 College Town Road in <br />Sacramento. ARB will rescind this site in a separate letter to Veeder-Root. <br />On October 13, 2006, we issued a letter granting R&D test site approval for UNOCAL <br />76 (NO. 25) to install components to support a Veeder-Root Phase II assist enhanced <br />vapor recovery (EVR) system. We understand that Veeder Root will convert the <br />UNOCAL 76 (NO. 25) site to a balance system to support the certification of the <br />Veeder-Root Phase II balance EVR system. On January 25, 2007, Veeder-Root <br />requested a revision of the uncertified equipment that may be installed at the UNOCAL . <br />76 (NO. 25) facility. Initially, Veeder-Root would use the ,above facilities as R&D test <br />sites to generate test data and information for the preliminary application of the Veeder- <br />Root's Phase II balance EVR system. Afterward, these facilities will be used as <br />certification test sites for the Veeder-Root Phase II balance EVR system. <br />The above facilities are approved as R&D test sites subject to all of the applicable <br />conditions and requirements in Certification Procedure 201 (CP -201) as well as the <br />conditions listed below: <br />1. The installations are exempt only from prohibition against installing equipment that <br />has not been certified by ARB.
