Emergency Resg nse Plan <br /> Underground Storage Tank Monitoriing Program <br /> This monitoring program must be kept at the LIST location at all times. The information on this <br /> monitoring program is a condition of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify San <br /> Joaquin County Division of Environmental Health within 30 days of any changes to the <br /> monitoring procedures, unless required to obtain approval before making changes. <br /> Required by Sections 2632(d) and 2641 (h) CCR. <br /> Facility Name: Beacon Station #3513 <br /> Facility Address: 401 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California <br /> 1. If an unauthorized release occurs, how will the hazardous substance be cleaned up? <br /> Note: if released hazardous substances reach the envkonment, increase the fire or <br /> explosion hazard, are not cleaned up from the secondary containment within 8 hours, or <br /> deteriorate the secondary containment, the San Joaquin County Division of <br /> Environmental Health must be notified at(2091468-3W within 24 hours. Employees have <br /> been instructed to immediately stop the release (i.e. turn off the gower <br /> , close the impact <br /> valve) and use absorbent to contain the release and prevent it's spread to critical areas <br /> such as storm drains and adjacent property. If the release is within the station <br /> employees' ability to clean u12, materials are available, or else a clean ug contractor will <br /> be called to assist. <br /> 2. Describe the proposed methods and equipment to be used for removing and properly <br /> disposing of any hazardous substances. Stations are equipped with absorbent material <br /> and metal drums. When a release occurs, the absorbent is used to clean ug the material, <br /> and is stored in the drum. on a regular basis, the absorbent is picked ug by a vacuum <br /> truck and taken to a disposal facility. <br /> 3. Describe the location and availability of the required cleanup equipment in item 2 <br /> above. The cleanup materials are kept in the cashier area in a "Ready Bucket" to <br /> grovide quick access to the employees In a time of emergency: <br /> 4. Describe the maintenance schedule for the cleanup equipment. The station manager is <br /> responsible for orderingan adegLiate,supply of absorbent, and replacement brooms and <br /> dust pans are available from our marketing suggly center. <br /> 5.
