4 <br />EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURE <br />In the event of a fire, spill, or a leak or suspected leak in the tanks and/or piping, the following <br />steps are to be taken as applicable: <br />Facility Operator is to: <br />1. Turn off pumps using the Emergency Pump Shut -Off Switch, one located in station <br />office, one located on south wall of service station building. <br />2. If there is any immediate danger, facility operator shall ANNOUNCE to all persons on <br />the site: "There is an emergency. Please turn off your engines and leave the station <br />on foot immediately." <br />3. Facility Operator is to: CALL FOR HELP in case of an emergency by dialing 9-1-1 and <br />giving the following information: <br />"THERE IS A FIRE/DANGEROUS GASOLINE SPILL at the UNOCAL Station at (give <br />address)." If anyone is trapped or needs medical attention, tell the answering <br />dispatcher. Stay on the phone and be prepared to answer any questions concerning <br />the situation. <br />4. Facility Operator Shall: ATTEMPT TO EXTINGUISH any fire if it can be done safely. <br />Have the fire extinguisher ready to use in the event of any dangerous spill. Try to <br />contain any spill if possible by use of absorbent materials and brooms. <br />5. Facility Operator is to: REPORT to arriving emergency response personnel to provide <br />them with any information or assistance they might need. <br />6. CONTACT the station dealer Inder Singh, if he is not already at the station. Use the <br />list below for emergency contacts: <br />1. Name/Home: Inder Singh (209) 368-1564 <br />2. Name/Bus./Home: Frank Pinnell, UNOCAL (415) 867-0760/None <br />7. NOTIFY your UNOCAL Representative by phone WITHIN 24 HOURS (also use the <br />UNOCAL Emergency Phone, after hours): <br />1. UNOCAL REPRESENTATIVE/PHONE NUMBER: Matt Fischer/(415)277-2465 <br />2. UNOCAL EMERGENCY PHONE: (415)867-0760 (24 HOURS) <br />The Dealer must mail a completed Unauthorized Release Report to the UNOCAL <br />Representative within 24 hours. <br />4 <br />
