•ECTIC,N 6 <br />EMPLOYEE SAFETY & TRAINING PROGRAM <br />In the event of a fire on the islands, a fuel dispenser being hit, <br />or• other situation in which a danger exists depress EMERGENCY PUMP <br />STOP switch located on fuel control console. Call 911, Frank <br />Guinta, Jr., and store Manager, evacuate all customers .and <br />employees from dangerous Situation. Fire extinguisher, ,are provided <br />if necessary ,and are to be used only if safe to do so. <br />In the event of a fuel spill on the islands (as a result of <br />customer error, equipment failure, or• similar cause), •attempt to <br />stop flow of fuel and contain with absorbent. If fuel spi 1 1 is <br />very large .and cannot be easily covered by •absorbent, construct <br />containment ring of absorbent and call 911. <br />In the event of a monitoring system leak detection activation, <br />notify John Guinta immediately. For, the safety of everyone the <br />fuel pumping system will stop. Go not ,attempt to restart system <br />until system integrity is determined. <br />In the event of fuel reconciliation variance greater than allowed <br />by law the following checks are to be performed: Check math for <br />errors, does problem stabilize within 2 days, manually stick tank <br />for• comparison against TLS, result of fuel drop. If these do not <br />resolve problem contact Frank Guinta, <br />In the event of a store fire evacuate customers and employees, call <br />911, and Frank Guinta, Jr. If the fire is small and can be <br />extinguished do so only if it safe to do so, call 911, then attempt <br />to contain the fire. <br />In the event of a medical emergency, a first_ •aid kit is provided on <br />the premises. Call 911 immediately. If unfamiliar• with basic <br />first aid leave for qualified personnel. <br />As part of our ongoing Injury and Illness Prevention Program, <br />training is provided when hired, when a deficiency or safety <br />violation is noted, and when yearl y store safety meetings •are held . <br />All employees must undergo training. John Guinta will train the <br />store managers who will in turn train their store employees and <br />provide documentation of the training. <br />C �7 <br />
