Box 30487 <br />Stockton, CA 95213 <br />Project: <br />Subject: I <br />Dear Mr. Crisp: <br />Frank's Food Mart <br />Manteca, California <br />4 <br />Results of In -Place Density Tests - <br />Tank Removal Backfill <br />This report presents the results of in-place density tests conducted on backfill soil placed in the <br />tank removal excavation at the above referenced project. <br />Our scope of services, authorized by Mr. Crisp on November 14, 1994, was to conduct in-place <br />density tests on backfill soil placed in the tank excavation area. <br />The purpose of our services was to determine the relative compaction of the backfill soil placed <br />in the tank removal excavation at the locations and depths referenced. <br />The tasks undertaken to achieve the purpose consisted of: <br />1) reviewing project information provided by Mr. Crisp such as size of tank <br />,removed, excavation dimensions, and depth and location of backfill soil to be <br />placed; <br />2) reviewing the project plans and specifications relating to minimum relative <br />compaction requirements; <br />3) obtaining a representative sample of the backfill soil, returning the sample to the <br />laboratory, and determining it's maximum dry density and optimum moisture <br />content; <br />CORPORATE OFFICE: <br />MODESTO <br />VISALIA <br />BAKERSFIELD <br />2527 Fresno Street <br />4230 Kiernan Ave. Suite 105 <br />2521 E.
