Verbal communications <br />2. Vehicle horns <br />3. Portable hand-held compressed gas horns <br />Horns should be used to alert 2U personnel of an emergency. One long blast shall <br />be used to signify immediate evacuation to a predetermined upwind location <br />where a headcount shall be taken. Repeated short blasts shall be used to signify <br />immediate evacuation to the exclusion zone border where a headcount shall be <br />taken and further instructions are given. <br />B. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT: <br />This equipment shall be made available at the work site at all times. <br />1. Fire extinguishers - (dry chemical/abc) <br />2. First aid kits <br />3. CGA and oxygen meters <br />4. Indicator tubes - (Draegar) <br />C. GENERAL EMERGENCY PROCEDURES: <br />1. In case of an emergency or hazardous situation, the worker that observes this <br />condition must immediately sound the alarm. <br />2. Upon hearing the alarm, all non -emergency communications will cease and the <br />observer shall proceed to give all pertinent information to the site safety officer. <br />3. Actions to be taken will be dictated by the emergency condition. <br />4. All power equipment shall be shut down. <br />S. Injured personnel will be transported to the contamination reduction line. <br />6. The Safety Engineer shall be immediately notified. <br />7.
