22. All hazardous waste site employees must complete a <br />required training program prior to starting work on a <br />site. <br />23. All employees are required to use the personal <br />protection specified for their work. This may <br />include, but is not limited to, cartridge respirator, <br />rain suit, gloves, boots, hard hat, hearing <br />protection, and safety glasses. <br />24. All employees must abide by all safety rules and <br />procedures as described in the work rules and/or <br />developed throughout a project. <br />25. For their own safety, children are not allowed to <br />come to work with their parents. <br />26. Pets will not be allowed in Company vehicles or on <br />any work location, unless authorized by K.M. <br />Scrivner, Inc., in writing. <br />Deliberate infraction of the safety guidelines may result in <br />suspension, or discharge. <br />9.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br />San Joaquin General Hospital is designated as the local <br />medical facility. The travel route to this facility from the <br />site is indicated on the emergency contact list. At least <br />one person on site will have first aid and CPR certification. <br />The site supervisor will have a first aid kit and an eye wash <br />station set up near the decontamination trailer. <br />The list of emergency phone numbers and contacts will be kept <br />on site during the project. This list will be posted in the <br />decontamination area. The nearest phone location will be <br />identified prior to the start of the project and indicated on <br />the emergency contact list. <br />All injured employees will go through decontamination prior <br />to leaving the site for medical treatment, if possible. If <br />decontamination procedures may be expected to further injure <br />the employee, the employee will be transported without <br />decontamination. Treatment personnel will be made aware of <br />the need for decontamination by the site supervisor, if <br />necessary. <br />On site emergencies are expected to be within the <br />capabilities of on site personnel. In the event of a fire, <br />accident, or injury, all work activities on site will cease <br />while the emergency is brought under control. Minor injuries <br />to on site personnel will be treated on site or at the local <br />
