All protective clothing required will be supplied. <br />None of this equipment will be permitted to leave the <br />hazardous waste site until it has been properly <br />decontaminated. <br />12. Employees are responsible to clean and maintain the <br />protective equipment issued to them. Any noted <br />defects in the equipment shall immediately be <br />reported to the site management. <br />13. Employees shall listen for warning signals on <br />construction equipment and shall yield to <br />construction equipment. <br />14. All equipment operators shall pay deliberate <br />attention to watching for workers on the ground who <br />may be in their path and provide warning to these <br />people before moving. <br />15. All workers shall follow emergency procedures <br />explicitly. <br />16. Exercise extreme caution when working around <br />chemicals. <br />17. Employees must report all injuries and/or illnesses <br />to their supervisor. This includes minor or slight <br />injuries. <br />18. Report any safety hazard to your supervisor. <br />19. All hazardous waste site workers must participate in <br />the established medical surveillance program. <br />Failure to submit to any exam will be grounds for <br />discharge. <br />20. All employees must participate in the air quality <br />exposure monitoring program by wearing the personal <br />monitors or sampling devices designated by the health <br />and safety officer. Any employee refusing to <br />participate in the program, or who tampers with a <br />sample, will be subject to disciplinary action. <br />21. No beards or long sideburns shall be allowed on <br />employees in work areas where respiratory protection <br />is required. Trimmed sideburns and mustaches are <br />acceptable. Employees must report to work clean <br />shaven when there is a potential need for the use of <br />respiratory protection. <br />
