Since the under dispenser containment (UDC) pans are being modified to add electrical <br />penetration fittings, an approved test must be performed to determine the integrity of the <br />UDC pans. <br />7. Contact Garrett Backus (468-2986) to arrange the following inspection(s) (a 48-hour <br />notice is required): <br />a. The EHD must witness the functionality of the monitoring system to ensure that <br />monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of California Code of <br />Regulations Title 23 and the Health & Safety Code. <br />b. The EHD must witness the integrity test performed on each UDC. <br />8. Since concrete is being broken near the UST, pipeline and tank integrity testing must be <br />performed by a SWRCB licensed tank tester in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />guidelines. Results must be received by the EHD within seven days of returning the <br />facility to operating condition. <br />9. An "Underground Storage Tank Certification of Installation/Modification" form (form C) <br />shall be submitted by the owner or the owners' agent [pursuant to (CCR) 2635(d)] before <br />this upgrade will be considered complete by EHD. <br />10. Permit expires 180 days from date of approval.
