TH66102 POLLULLtT°
FLUID/VAPOR DETECTION SYSTEM
SENSES AIR, WATER OR HYDROCARBONS.
Tank leaks cost a lot more than the
price of lost petroleum. They can
rob your cash flow through chaotic
disruptions. Or steal your profits
through longer-term interruptions.
But worse, underground leaks can
seep into streams or community
water supplies. They can endanger
housing projects. Or threaten
individual home owners with
noxious fumes from basements
or crawl spaces. They can spark
disaster to entire neighborhoods.
Clean up costs can run into
millions of dollars. And cleaning up
the various litigations that result can
cost you your business.
Industry experts contend that
many tanks installed during the "gas
station boom years" are now
corroding and beginning to leak.
The truth is --no underground
storage tank offers total assurance
against hidden leaks. Recent court
decisions reflect this fact. An
alarming number of judgements
have been upheld against companies
whose leaking tanks contaminated
surrounding ground water. The
environment is still an issue. And
when the damage is "close to
home," legal reaction is sometimes
quick and costly.
You can't afford the costs
of ignorance—not knowing if
you have a leak or what the
consequences might be. And there
is only one way to stop hidden
leaks before they seep into
dangerous grounds: an
early warning system of
underground sensing devices.
The FD 102 Polluler-0 Fluid
Detection System is designed
specifically to meet the needs
of anyone with above or below
ground tank storage.
Up to 10 sophisticated probes
"sense" the underground perimeter
around your tanks for air, water or
hydrocarbons (petroleum in various
forms). The status of the probes is
displayed above ground on a small,
space -saving monitor. Of course,
when hydrocarbons are present,
the status is reported in a "more
urgent" manner.
ROUND-THE-CLOCK
PROTECTION EVEN
WHEN NO ONE'S
AROUND.
Mallory Pollulert Fluid Detection
System operates continuously. 24
hours a day. When the monitor is
attended—or when no one is
there. Probe status is displayed
visibly at both the probe and
monitor. Hydrocarbon detection
is signalled both audibly and visually.
Once it "sounds" at the monitor,
you can trace the exact location by
checking status lights at individual
probes.
The hydrocarbon alarm can
be transmitted any distance by
connecting data transmission
equipment through relay terminals...
The system can be interfaced to
alert you by telephone, or activate
countermeasures such as pumps or
valves.
