UNDERGROUND STORAGE TAN* 46 <br />Section 13215 — Page 2 <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. List of Materials: Submit 5 copies of list of materials and equipment pro— <br />posed for use. Also submit details and calculations for anchorage of tank <br />designed and signed by a Certified Structural Engineer licenced in the State <br />of California. <br />Give name of manufacturer, brand name, and catalog number of each item. <br />Submit complete list at one time with items arranged in numerical sequence <br />within each Section and Article of specifications. Listing items "as r. <br />specified" without both make and model or type designation is not acceptable, <br />except as noted. <br />Only pipe and fitting not specified by brand names may be listed "as specified" <br />without manufacturer's name, provided proposed materials comply with specifica— <br />tion requirements. <br />B. Descriptive Data: Submit 5 copies of complete description, information and <br />performance data covering equipment which is specified but for which catalog <br />plate numbers, brand names, or specific models have not been used. <br />C. Miscellaneous: Prior to installation, submit to Construction Supervisor <br />2 bound identified copies of complete description, catalog data and rough <br />in dimensions on all equipment. <br />D. Manuals: On completion of project submit to Construction Supervisor 2 bound <br />identified copies of Operation and Maintenance Instructions and Parts.Lists <br />for equipment furnished. <br />E. Trench Safety Plan: See Supplementary General Conditions regarding submittal <br />of detailed plan for shoring and bracing in all trenches 5 ft. or more in <br />depth. <br />1.06 DAMAGE RESPONSIBILITY <br />Repair damage to buildings or equipment caused by leaks or breaks in pipes <br />or equipment furnished or installed under this work during guarantee period. <br />1.07 SITE CONDITIONS <br />A. Information on the drawings relative to existing work is approximate only. <br />Minor deviations found necessary during progress of construction shall be <br />made without additional cost to the State. Locate all underground utilities <br />before start of any construction work. <br />B. The Contractor shall cooperate with the Agency and make all changes and con— <br />nections to existing work at a time most convenient to the Agency. Services <br />shall be interrupted only as directed by the State Construction Supervisor. <br />1.08 VISITING JOB SITE <br />The Contractor shall visit the job site and be familiarized with existing <br />conditions, piping layout, and layouts of existing cooling and ventilating <br />system before bidding.
