Hydrostatic/pneumatic (5 psi) piping system test data shall <br />include the amount of pressure applied to the system and the <br />amount of time elapsed prior to depressurization. <br />B. Indeterminate leak rates that can not be isolated to the storage <br />tank or piping system (system leaks) will not be recognized as <br />conclusive. <br />C. If a tank test is inconclusive or is suspended, the reason(s) <br />shall be included along with the tank tester's recommendations. <br />The responsible representative shall be notified verbally within <br />24 hours and a written report shall be submitted. The contractor <br />and the Office of the State Architect field inspector and to the <br />Architect. <br />4. Submission of Certification Documentation <br />All certificates(s) and Reports of Test Procedures and Results shall be <br />submitted to the Office of the State Architect and the responsible <br />facility representative within fifteen (15) days of completion of the <br />test. <br />3.02 PROTECTION, CARE AND CLEANING <br />Protect materials and equipment against moisture, dirt and damage. Clean <br />piping, valves, and equipment installed under this work. <br />3.03 PLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT <br />Move equipment through openings; disassemble and reassemble and perform other <br />work necessary to accomplish installation. <br />3.04 FORMING, CUTTING AND PATCHING <br />A. New Construction: Provide sleeves, inserts and openings necessary for <br />installation of Mechanical Work, unless required under General Work. <br />B. Alterations: Do all cutting, patching and repairing of existing construc— <br />tion to permit installation, relocation or removal of Work, unless required <br />under General Work. Match existing materials and surfaces. <br />Cut existing (old) construction with special care to prevent damage to <br />structural members and existing work. Drill or core holes in concrete <br />walls or floors. Obtain approval before cutting. <br />3.05 EXCAVATING AND BACKFILLING <br />A. General: Excavate and backfill for installation (or removal) of Mechanical <br />Work, including piping and structures (tanks, vaults, manholes, steam con— <br />duits, tunnels, etc.). <br />1.
