EITERGENCY RESPONSE - EVACUATION PLAN <br />In the event of a fire, hazardous material spill or an earthquake,.... <br />Follow these steps immediately!! <br />Turn Off the pumps by pressing the "stop button" on the attendant's console. Should the <br />flow of hydrocarbons continue or you can not use the console, turn off the emergency <br />shutoff switch on the electrical panel. <br />2. Announce over the public address system: <br />"There is a (fire), OR (dangerous spill) in the facility. Please turn off your engines and <br />leave the station ON FOOT IN MEDIATELY!" <br />If you do not have a public address system at your unit, yell the above statement. <br />Call Help by dialing 9-1-1 and giving the following information; <br />"There is a (fire), OR (dangerous spill) at NELLA OIL COMPANY CARDLOCK 4427 <br />located at 3300 WATERLOO ROAD STOCKTON, CA. 95205 <br />If anyone is trapped or needs attention, tell the answering dispatcher. Stay on the phone <br />and be prepared to answer any questions concerning the situation. <br />If the facility phone is not accessible, use the nearest public phone. <br />4. Look Around to insure that all employees and customers have left the facility, particularly <br />those in vehicles who may need assistance or did not hear the emergency announcement. <br />Assist or direct assistance to any customer having difficulty in leaving the station area. <br />Secure the area to prevent any unnecessary vehicle entry. <br />6. Attend to the injured and direct medical response to them. <br />7. Attempt to Extin�3s wish any fire if you can do so safely. If the fire is small, the fire <br />extinguisher should be used to extinguish it. If the fire is large or spreading, or you <br />determine that there is a potential danger of explosion or personal injury, do not attempt <br />to put out the fire with the fire extinguisher. If fire or explosion requires you to <br />evacuate the facility, lock the cash drawer and leave the facility. <br />S. Attempt to Contain any hazardous material spill utilizing an absorbent material, <br />9. Report to arriving emergency response personnel to provide them any information or <br />assistance they may require. <br />10. Remain Calm <br />0352t7 <br />
