Show employees <br /> where the spill response supplies are kept. Explain the criticality of only using <br /> spark-free equipment when cleaning up or containing flammable substances. <br /> If the spill can not be contained or cleaned up by onsite personnel, contact <br /> 911. Make every attempt to contain the release until emergency crews have <br /> responded. <br /> Explain the process for storing hazmat after a cleanup. Solid waste, such as <br /> kitty litter or rags, must be placed in a properly labeled solid waste hazmat <br /> container.
