San Joaquin <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />DIRECTOR <br />Donna Heran, REHS <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, RENS <br />Jeff Carruesco, RENS, RDI <br />Kasey Foley, REHS <br />Linda Turkatte, REHS <br />SR0062275 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the application for a permit to replace fuel piping in the basement, install new sheet metal pan <br />beneath piping and pumps and a new leak sensor (Veeder Root Model 208) in the pan in the <br />fuel supply pump room, and replace "on -off -auto" shut off switch with an "on-off' switch for fuel <br />supply pump #2 on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. <br />The temporary fuel piping used during contraction shall be rinsed and disposed in the same <br />manners as the replaced fuel piping. The permit has been approved with the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Jeff Wong at (209) 468-0335 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br />(a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br />inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval, <br />a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br />ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br />California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. ' <br />b. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating <br />pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br />4. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br />supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br />following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br />Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), or a <br />Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State Water Board, and <br />
