INTRODUCTION: <br /> Co-Flex piping is an environmentally compatible, double wall, flexible piping system <br /> designed Certified and Listed for direct bury. Couplings are with traditional swage type <br /> expansion termination fittings or the replaceable"Direct Connection"termination's. <br /> Continuous piping runs connecting tanks and dispensers utilize sumps to contain and <br /> protect the pipe termination's. <br /> Note: This installation guide is to be used by trained and certified installers. Please <br /> contact Western Fiberglass, Inc. for certification information. Co-Flex warranty is valid <br /> only if installation and testing procedures described within this manual have been followed <br /> by certified installation personnel. <br /> Co-Flex piping is currently available in 1.5" and 2.0"I.D. Primary Pipe operating pressure <br /> should not exceed 75psi at a temperature range of-20 to+150 degrees F. Secondary <br /> operating pressure is 5 psi for Co-Flex and up to 75 psi for Co-Flex 2000 with B? series <br /> test boots. <br /> Co-Flex flexible piping system installation and testing procedures are unique and <br /> traditional rigid, metal or fiberglass piping installation procedures may not apply. <br /> Please read this manual completely prior to installation. Forward a copy of <br /> your site plan to our office for a prompt, computer generated, piping layout and materials <br /> print out. <br /> SPECIFICATIONS: <br /> Permeability; The pipe permeability shall be no greater than 0.006 oz/ft/day(2g/m2/day) <br /> for the primary and 0.79oz/f 2/day(24g/m2/day)for the secondary containment pipe. <br /> Compatibility; The Co-Flex piping system shall be compatible with all fuels and blends <br /> including MTBE. <br />
