f,t _ <br /> 3b). Insert draw bar through ram unit. <br /> Removal of Fitting Seal or Gasket on Swivel Female Couplings <br /> 3c). Carefully oil or grease the inside of the piping termination. NOTE: Do not grease <br /> inside of pipe or outside barbs of fittings !. <br /> 3d). Insert pipe termination thread first into guide block on ram unit. <br /> 3e). Screw swage mandrel onto draw bar and firmly against and partly within the <br /> lubricated pipe termination fitting. <br /> 3f). Re-Grease or oil swage mandrel to insure a smooth swage draw cycle. <br /> 3g). Slide termination swage ferrule over termination fitting. <br /> 3h). Insert pipe onto termination fitting and inside swage ferrule. Pipe must-be in at least <br /> 1 1/2" or until just visible through hole, if included, in swage ferrule. <br /> 3i). Pump hand pump or push button to draw swage mandrel through pipe termination. <br /> 3j). Release pump pressure and remove fitting. Re-Install Fitting Gasket or Seal. <br /> 4). Hand tighten swivel type fitting nut to "T" or 90 and wrench tighten no more than an <br /> additional 1/2 turn. Do Not Exceed to prevent seal damage. <br /> NOTE: Swaging must be done in one complete action,fully lubricated and do not <br /> stop once you have started. <br /> DIRECT CONNECTION,M TYPE FITTING INSTRUCTIONS <br /> KEEP ALL FITTINGS AND PIPE ENDS CLEAN !. <br /> Note: Direct Connection fittings use two (2)band clamps per fitting installed with bolts <br /> opposed or in opposite directions. (See details). <br /> 1). Clamps are to be placed no more than 1/4 inch apart and the first clamp is to be no <br /> more than 1/4"from pipe end, nearest to termination fitting. <br />
