According to the permit requestor (Greg Kaiser) no repairs to the primary piping are <br />anticipated at this time. <br />The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br />Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any <br />applicable permits and requirements. <br />Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br />commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Elena Manzo at (209) 953-7699 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a 48- <br />hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br />a. Secondary piping soap test: One-hour pressure test for all exposed piping, per <br />manufacturer's guidelines. If there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed <br />using an applicable method specified in an industry code or engineering standard. <br />b. Secondary containment piping pressure test (after surface repairs/ restoration) <br />c. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on any impacted/exposed UDC sump(s), as <br />applicable. <br />4. If concrete will be broken near the tank, a secondary containment test must be performed on the <br />affected diesel UST once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. <br />5. Secondary containment testing for the impacted piping is required six months after installation. <br />Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled. <br />6. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of <br />an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors <br />State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), or a Tank Tester's license <br />issued to the individual by the State Water Board, and <br />b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the International Code <br />Council (ICC), and <br />
