Immediately fix the problem and send proof of correction to the EHD. <br /> Monthly overfill alarms(for the T1 UST tank)have been noted from March 2017 through January 2018. The <br /> monthly underground storage tank system shall be operated to prevent unauthorized releases and overfills. Ensure <br /> that the T1 tank system is not being routinely overfilled and that the required overfill prevention is being maintained. <br /> Take all necessary precautions to prevent this in the future. Note:the overfill alarms are a repeat violation. <br /> Designated operator has mentioned several times to"stop fuel delivery as soon as the first alarm (overfill)goes <br /> off."-8/1/2017 designated operator monthly inspection report. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 309 CCR 2636(f)(1)Monitoring in sump/UDC failed to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow product. <br /> The Bravo box float and chain for the 87 grade piping in the 1/2 UDC sump and the 87 grade and 91 grade in the <br /> 3/4 UDC sump failed to stop the flow of product at the dispenser when tested. All monitoring equipment shall be <br /> maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a <br /> leak. The service technician cleared debris, adjusted the chains, and verified functionality. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the <br /> complete report which replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the complete inspection report. <br /> Violations taken off checklist: <br /> 209, 211 <br /> Report was emailed with a list of free EHD classes and a recordable release document. <br /> AFTER THE COMPLIANCE DATE,EHD WILL BILL FOR ALL TIME AND ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH BRINGING <br /> THIS FACILITY BACK INTO COMPLIANCE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> Received by: Date: February 26,2018 Inspector.
