These <br />activities will be permitted only in areas desianated by the SSHO. <br />Due to the potential for upgrading to Level C protection, no personnel utilizing contact lenses <br />for their eye correction will be allowed to work at the site during <br />subsurface investigation. Prescription glasses must be worn at all times for those personnel <br />requiring eye correction. <br />Personnel with facial hair, except those with mustaches that do not interfere with the proper <br />fit of the respirator, will not be permitted into work areas as facial hair interferes with fitting of <br />respirators; if upgrading to level C. <br />Work will be performed during daylight hours only, unless approved by SSHO. <br />Formal periods of rest for personnel may be required in hot weather and/or during strenuous <br />activity. <br />Contaminated or "clean" material, generated through the site works, may be stored on the site <br />property in a secured area. However, it will be the responsibility of the client to dispose of <br />both contaminated and "clean" materials to appropriate facilities. <br />In the event of an injury, fire/explosion, accident, equipment failure, all personnel shall follow <br />the provisions of this HASP.
