In 1993 he started a consulting practice and no longer works as a construction <br />contractor. <br />FUEL SYSTEMS CONSULTING was formed to provide service to those who own and operate <br />fuel storage and dispensing facilities, or those involved in the construction of them. <br />As a consultant he may be of service to a wide range of clients in addition to service station <br />owners, operators and contractors, such as: architects, engineers, other consultants, <br />property owners, lenders and attorneys. <br />The functions he may perform are as follows: <br />Provide plans and specifications for permits and construction. <br />Design fuel systems, assist with or critique a design. <br />Design the installation of monitoring systems. <br />Retrofitting of existing systems. <br />Design for an appropriate fuel management system. <br />Conduct inspections and provide written reports. <br />Coordinate permit procurment. <br />Troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for corrective work. <br />Act as your agent on any matter related to fuel systems. <br />Serve as an expert witness or consultant. <br />Fuel Systems Consulting is a specialty, consulting on service stations and related facilities. <br />For many years while in the construction business worked for most of the major oil <br />companies. While at the same time working in public works and private sector. <br />The work generally included the installation of underground storage tanks, the product <br />piping systems, secondary containment of piping and monitoring equipment. The related <br />electrical and monitoring conduits and conductors were also part of our work. The <br />concrete pavements covering the tanks, fuel islands and concrete drive slabs were also <br />provided as part of the fuel systems work on most projects. Normally subcontracted the <br />excavation and setting of the underground tanks however we directed this work in every <br />detail to insure the proper backfill material was used as well as methods and procedures <br />
