Store personnel are not charged with maintenance oversight except being
responsible for notifying the Corporate Gasoline Department of problems
so that a purchase order can be authorized and a maintenance contractor
dispatched. Due to manpower limitations, entries on maintenance logs
(spreadsheets) have been temporarily suspended. A copy of the dispatch
log covering the 8/3/05 alarm is enclosed. The alarm was due to fluid in
the turbine sump. Complete records are available at Elite IV Contractors,
including work orders and invoices. Should you wish to review those
records, Elite IV will be happy to assist.
2. Training related to the Designated Operator program was conducted and
subsequently recorded on pages contained in Tab 4 of the on-site binder
titled Hazardous Materials Regulatory Compliance Documents.
Admittedly, training records related to the Designated Operator program
should be located in the other on-site binder titled Underground Storage
Tank Documents. Also, the training curriculum should be more focused
on the UST integrity and procedures and less emphasis on the Business
Plan. Enclosed is our proposed curriculum and unidocs employee training
record which when implemented should eliminate the confusion
surrounding our current less -than -satisfactory program.
