The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, at its Site 300 Experimental Test Site in San Joaquin County, plans to leak test the secondary containment components on the following permitted petroleum Underground Storage Tank systems. Wednesday August 3, 2011, commencing at approximately 9:00 AM, Thursday August 4, 2011, commencing at approximately 9:00 AM. (only if needed) B882 882-D1 Ul (Diesel UST) Double Wali UST Interstitial, Sump, Double Wall Pipe Interstitial B879 879-D1 U1 (Diesel UST) Double Wall UST Interstitial, Sump, UDC 3 (Note: Diesel product piping is safe* suction.) 8879 879-G3U1 (Gasoline UST) Double Wall UST Interstitial, Sump, Double Wall Pipe Interstitial, UDC 1, UDC 2 The Secondary Containment Leak Testing Procedures and Protocol for the proposed testing will be sent to you for your review. Secondary Containment Leak Testing will be performed by Thornton Environmental Construction, Inc. which have trained ICC Service Technicians as required by CCR Title 23 §2637(d), have a valid CA Contractors License that meets the requirements of CCR Title 23 §2715(i)(1), and have ICC Service Technicians who have been trained and certified by the manufacturer of the equipment components as required by CCR Title 23 §2715(1)(2). A copy of the Leak Test Reports will be forwarded to you after leak testing is completed, as required by CCR Title 23 §2637(e). This Notice of Intent to Leak Test Secondary Containment Components is being sent as required by CCR Title 23 §2637(f). Per our previous communications, it is my understanding that you do not plan to attend the Secondary Containment Leak Testing.
