ESH Team 5: 3-5286 <br /> The nearest Emergency Medical Facility is: <br /> LLNL Medical, Building 877 <br /> phone: 3-5250 <br /> The route to this Facility is included on page D-13. <br /> At least one vehicle designated for emergency use must be present <br /> at the work area. <br /> Treatment for Chemical Exposure <br /> Ingestion <br /> Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by emergency <br /> medical personnel. Note the ingested substance (bring the container <br /> if possible) and immediately transport to LLNL Medical, Building 877 <br /> or call emergency response services (911). <br /> Inhalation <br /> If you can do so without harming yourself, move the injured worker <br /> away from the source of the air contaminant. If breathing has <br /> stopped, perform artificial respiration on the victim. If the heart <br /> has stopped, perform CPR. Call for emergency response services <br /> (911) or transport the victim to LLNL Medical, Building 877 as soon <br /> as possible. <br /> Skin Contact <br /> Immediately rinse the affected skin with water. Remove any <br /> contaminated clothing and rewash the skin if necessary. If <br /> irritation persists or the skin is damaged, transport the victim to <br /> LLNL Medical, Building 877. <br /> ,Eve Contact <br /> Hold eyelids open and rinse the eye(s) with large amounts of water. <br /> Do not flush the contaminants from the injured eye into the <br /> unaffected eye. Never rub irritated eyes. If possible, have the <br /> victim remove his/her contact lenses (if worn). If irritation <br /> persists or the eye(s) is damaged, transport the victim to LLNL <br /> Medical, Building 877. <br /> D-4 <br />
