Fill opening complete with fill tube and filling limiter valve. <br /> 2. Monitoring column for connection of leak monitoring system to <br /> secondary containment. <br /> 4. Lifting lugs, hold down straps, anchors and dielectric isolation <br /> pads. <br /> 5. Continuous leak monitoring system. <br /> 6. Remote liquid level gaging system. <br /> 7. Other appurtenances required to complete the tank and leak <br /> monitoring system. <br /> B. Day Tank Fuel Transfer System: <br /> 1. Day Tank: <br /> Day tank to be made of 10-gauge steel construction, minimum. <br /> Epoxy-coated inside for rust prevention, primed and finished <br /> painted outside. Tank connections required: fuel supply (top) 1" <br /> NPT, engine supply 1" NPT, overflow 1" NPT and vent 1-1/4" NPT. <br /> Inspection port, 4-1/211 square, for visual inspection of tank. <br /> 2. Pumps: <br /> Day tank to be provided with a 2 GPM bronze gear pump, capable <br /> of 17 feet lift and connected to a 1/3 H.P. motor. <br /> 3. Electrical Control: <br /> Day tank electrical control to maintain full tank level by <br /> energizing pump at 88 percent level and de-energizing at 100 <br /> percent level. Level indication of tank required. Minimum safety <br /> requirements are as follows. <br /> A. High level alarm and cutout. <br /> B. Low level alarm and cutout. <br /> C. Critical low level warning alarm, when level in tank is below <br /> low level alarm point. <br /> D. Malfunction warning, when day tank control loses power or <br /> malfunctions, an alarm is needed to provide warning. <br /> E. Rupture basin level alarm for each day tank. <br /> 21-A096 15991-2 <br />
