Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test for all piping, at 110% of <br /> operating pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br /> c. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test for all piping, per manufacturer's <br /> guidelines. If there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using <br /> an applicable method specified in an industry code or engineering standard. <br /> d. Sampling: Witness soil sampling and receive laboratory analytical results, receive all <br /> appropriate waste disposal documentation <br /> 4. Since concrete will be broken near the tank, once concrete is poured, a secondary <br /> containment test must be performed on the existing UST in accordance with the <br /> manufacturer's guidelines. Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is <br /> scheduled. <br /> 5. The actual location and orientation of the UST and the appurtenant piping shall be <br /> indicated on as-built drawings of the facility. Copies of all drawings, photographs, and <br /> plans shall be submitted to the EHD prior to the final inspection approval, including but <br /> not limited to the correct information on page FO-G1 of the proposed drawings, under <br /> the Sequence of Work section (paragraphs 7 and 8) and under the Scope of Work <br /> section (item 4), concerning the piping removal/or closure in place. <br /> 6. Secondary containment testing for the underground piping is required six months after <br /> installation. Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled. <br /> 7. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br /> supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br /> following: <br /> a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br /> Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), or a <br /> Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State Water Board, and <br /> b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br /> International Code Council (ICC), and <br /> c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br /> being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br /> 8. Qualified installers must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an <br /> individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the following: <br /> a. A valid, current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board, <br /> and <br /> b. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br /> being installed, and <br /> c. A valid, current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International <br /> Code Council (ICC). <br /> 9. Update and submit a copy of the "UST Monitoring Plan" for EHD approval: log in to the <br /> California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) and make appropriate changes. <br /> 10. A "UST Certification of Installation/Modification" form shall be submitted by the owner or <br /> the owner's agent (CCR Section 2635(4)) before this upgrade is considered complete by <br /> 2 <br />
