The resis-
tance of carbon polymer changes drastically as it
comes into contact with hydrocarbons. This charac-
teristic is used to detect and report fuel.
Benefits
The STP Sump probe will distinguish between fuel
and water. The probe is non-destructive. It can be
re -used without limitation, and it is not sensitive to
vapor.
It also provides a low and high level alarm by using
two floats. The console can be programmed to alarm
on low level and shut down on high level. The STP
Sump probe requires only a two -wire connection to
the CEI console.
=0
Type (Water Detection) Float Switch
Type (Fuel Detection) Carbon Polymer
Length 36"
Minimum Water detected 1 "
Minimum Fuel Detected .0625"
Recommended Location
the STP Sump.
