4) CEI SerieMOO
GENERAL SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
The overall Series 3000 system is capable of providing all of the various
functions outlined in this performance specification. However, since some
functions may not be needed at different sites, the system is configurable to
allow selection of specific functions to be implemented at specific locations.
• The fully integrated operating system communicates between the retail site
and remote locations via dedicated modems and telephone lines.
• Any data, variable, alarm, configuration parameter, etc., retained for record
purposes will also be available on displays and for printing (such as current
status and histories of leak tests and alarms, etc.).
• The on and off-site record retention capabilities are sufficiently flexible to
satisfy U.S. EPA regulatory requirements and Local Codes where applicable.
This includes the immediate response to on-site inspection requests for
information.
• The equipment is manufactured and operated in accordance with performance
and safety specifications prescribed by all national building codes and the
National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA).
Site OUerajipgjQgnjrol (SOC) Unit
• A line test is initiated automatically after each dispensing cycle of the pump.
(Refer to the appropriate sections for the line leak test requirements.)
• Whenever a line leak test is run, the SOC Unit will try to do the best test
possible for current conditions.
Upon completion of any tank or line leak test, the system will store and display
all required information and alarms.
• All probe alarms are recorded and displayed.
• Auxiliary relay contacts are provided for ancillary items, such as repeat alarms,
remote status indicators, additional horns, etc.
• Documented certification by Underwriters Laboratories is provided for all
equipment located at the retail facilities.
• All leak detection equipment and systems provided meet or exceed all
U.S.EPA regulations, standards, and requirements and/or the applicable Local
Codes, whichever is more stringent, for leak detection sensitivity and per-
formance (i.e., acceptable probability of leak detection and false alarms).
• Third party certification of line and tank leak detection performance is
provided. This includes the annual and monthly precision testing for both tank
and line leak detection and the Regulatory test for line leak detection.
1: Page 1
