8 d.) Strip the wire insulation back
approximately 3/8" on t ree motor leads.
Using the wire nuts sup*d (from hardware
pack p/n 400301903) connect to the wires
from the electrical connector orange to
orange, black to black, and red to red. Coil
the wires and push into the Discharge
Manifold cavity using care to ensure wires are
not damaged on Discharge Manifold threads.
A WARNING Damage to the electrical
conduit wires presents a risk of potentially
lethal electrical shock and equipment failure.
Do not use equipment if electrical wires have
been damaged (contact FE Petro for
assistance).
8 e.) Tighten the Discharge Head cover (from
hardware pack p/n 400301907) in place using
a 3/4" ratchet.
Vapor Tube Assembly
NOTE Take note of which end of the vapor
tube extension is flared before cutting to
length. The flared end should be fitted
over the stationary vapor tube to extend it
the length of the column pipe.
9. Measure from the vapor tube mounted on the
column pipe to the motor discharge head;
subtract 1". Cut a piece of the supplied vapor
tube to this length with tube cutter, and
remove any burrs on the tube end. When
completed, fit the flared end over the vapor
tube already mounted to the pump. Attach
clamp(s) (from hardware pack p/n
400301906) to lower portion of vapor tube to
secure in place.
0
STEP 8d.)
STEP 8e.)
STEP 9.
