Manway Risers <br />The Fiberglass Manway Riser provides access from a man- <br />hole box and cover. <br />AWARNING <br />• Do not enter tank <br />• Entry can result in: <br />ASPHYXIATION EXPLOSION FIRE <br />Entering the manway riser or the tank after installation is a <br />confined space entry. Follow proper safety procedures. <br />• Since the riser bottom is open, the manway riser will fill <br />with water as water surrounds it on the outside. <br />• Traffic areas require a reinforced concrete traffic pad. <br />• Because of potential tank buoyancy, when 2 or more <br />manway risers (or turbine enclosures) are used, contact <br />Tank Technical Support for anchoring questions.
