To facilitate ease of terminating, special bell x male adapters or special sleeve couplings for secondary contain- ment are available for use with secondary containment termination fittings. The special adapters and sleeve cou- plings have been machined on the O.D. to fit the sec- ondary containment termination fittings. If machined bell x male adapters are not available, standard male threaded adapters or sleeve couplings may be used (see Table 2.4.1).
