15.0 SITE SAFETY BRIEFINGS <br /> 15.1 COMMUNICATION AND REVIEW OF THE HASP <br /> An initial review of the site-specific HASP will be held either prior to <br /> mobilization or after mobilization but prior to commencing work at the <br /> site to communicate HASP details and answer questions to individuals <br /> working at the site. The following topics will be addressed during the <br /> briefing: <br /> • Names of the FSO and any designated alternate; <br /> • Hazardous chemicals that may be encountered during on-site <br /> activities; <br /> ® Physical hazards that may be encountered on-site; <br /> ® Special training requirements and Safe Work Practices; <br /> ® Work tasks; <br /> • Emergency communication signals, codes, and location of emergency <br /> contact information; <br /> • Emergency procedures for safety events,fires, and hazardous material <br /> incidents; and <br /> • Emergency evacuation routes. <br /> 15.2 DAILY SAFETY MEETING <br /> A daily safety meeting will be conducted each morning. The daily safety <br /> meeting will include a discussion of the following health &safety-related <br /> topics,among others: <br /> ® Who is doing what,where and how; <br /> • The potential for overlapping site operations; <br /> • Changes to the HASP or JHAs; <br /> • Discussion of recent Incidents or safety observations; and <br /> • Comments from the project personnel. <br /> The meetings will be documented on the Daily Safety Meeting form found <br /> in Appendix L. <br /> ERM 15-1 DEERE/129740-9/29/2011 <br />
