8.0 MEDICAL SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS <br /> First aid supplies will be made available to all personnel on site. First aid <br /> supplies on-hand at the project site include: <br /> • First-aid kit in Health and Safety Cabinet infield office trailer; <br /> • First-aid kit and fire extinguisher in each work truck; and <br /> • Fire extinguishers in the field office trailer. <br /> Additionally, in case of non-emergency situations, initial medical care is <br /> offered to injured employees through WorkCare. An injured employee or <br /> Supervisor can reach a qualified occupational nurse or physician for <br /> advice on the appropriate treatment method by calling 1-888-449-7787. <br /> WorkCare must be called for consultation for all non-emergency <br /> injuries or illnesses. <br /> For the duration of the project, at least one individual currently certified to <br /> render emergency first aid and/or CPR will be present during all work <br /> activities. Additional medical surveillance will be provided for employees <br /> who are injured,become ill, or develop signs or symptoms due to possible <br /> exposure involving hazardous substances or health hazards from an <br /> emergency response or hazardous waste operation. <br /> ERM 8-1 DEERE/129740-9/29/2011 <br />
