• A decontamination area will be designated for cleaning all equipment <br /> that has been in contact with the site materials before leaving the site. <br /> All decontamination will be conducted on a pad with an impermeable <br /> synthetic liner and fluid-containment boom. Equipment will be placed <br /> on the pad and rinsed,brushed, and/or steam cleaned to remove any <br /> contamination. <br /> • Disposal of fluids generated from the decontamination process will be <br /> in accordance with approved workplans. <br /> • Disposal of all solids collected within the decontamination pad and the <br /> pad liner will be in accordance with approved workplans. <br /> • For major equipment, the minimum required procedure is to utilize a <br /> soap and/or water rinse and steam cleaning with temperature <br /> between 160 degrees and 180 degrees Fahrenheit with a pressure at or <br /> greater than 1,200 pounds per square inch(psi). <br /> ERM 10-2 DEERE/129740-9/29/2011 <br />
