' 05 July 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 00-0696 <br /> Pages 5 of 9 <br />' The proposed ground water monitoring well locations will be advanced to approximately 15 feet bsg <br /> utilizing a truck-mounted, hollow stem drill ng equipped with 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem <br /> augers Total depths of borings may vary according to hydrogeologic/geologic conditions <br /> encountered during drilling <br /> Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents <br /> • TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030, <br /> • BTEX compounds and MTBE in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br /> • Fuel oxygenated compounds including MTBE, TBA,DIPE,ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE) <br /> and tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME)by EPA Method 8260 Modified <br /> Laboratory reports for the soil analyses,testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations <br /> 3 3 MONITORING WELL DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br /> Following well installation, each well will be developed to maximize water flow and minimize the <br /> amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing After development, <br /> each well casing will be surveyed to determine an elevation relative to meas sea level Procedures <br /> for well installation, development and survey are presented in Sections 4 2 and 4 3 , respectively <br /> 34 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling activities for each newly installed ground water monitoring <br /> well will be conducted on a quarterly basis unless an alternate schedule or suspension of monitoring <br /> is approved by the PHS-EHD Ground water monitoring activities will include recording depth to <br /> ground water measurements and collection of ground water samples Ground water sample collection <br /> procedures are descnbed in Section 4 6 3 <br /> tGround water samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents <br /> • EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030 for TPH-g, <br /> i <br /> Advanced Geo Environmental,lnc <br /> I <br />
