The excavation should then be backfilled with clean soil. y
,.n p p ,
Given the preliminary indication that groundwater has been impacted beneath this ra a we
would further recommend that ground water monitoring wells be constructed on the property.
Ground water quality data, obtained via laboratory analysis of water samples from the wells,
would enable us to determine the concentration and preliminary extent of ground water
Lm, contaminants. In addition, ground water depth measurements taken from the wells would allow
us to determine the net hydraulic gradient of ground water beneath the property. These data
would allow us to provide recommendations for ground water remediation, if necessary.
f.... !_IMITATIONS
The above conclusions are based on our assessment of conditions indicated to exist as of the
t i date of our field reconnaissance, August 22, 1990. The results of this Investigation do not
preclude the possibility of substances that are currently or in the suture defined as hazardous
being present on the property because of activities we did not identify. This report is applicable
i only to the investigated portion of the property and should not be used for any other area of the
L,. propel'
I
L..
Wallace - Kuhl &Associates, Inc.
GeO
ANTH iNY [1
SARAC'NO
N
CERTIFIED David Von Aspern
Anthony Saraci =• ENGINEERING
Senior Ge gist P.,
GEOLOGIST•;'? Staff Geologist
..' l '• ... ..•• pF '
+ DVA:AS:sdm
