Closure Report po May 21, 1993 Southland Site No 20680, 9110 Thornton Road, Stockton, CA 9 4,3 Recent Analytical Results for Groundwater Analytical results of the groundwater samples collected on December 23, 1992, from the groundwater monitoring wells and domestic wells reported concentrations of BTEX and TPH-G below the MDLs, with the exception of the samples collected from MW-1, MWASA, and MW-15C Toluene concentrations were reported for monitoring wells MW-1, MW-15A, and MW-15C at 33 0 ppb, 0 3 ppb, and 0 5 ppb, respectively Analytical results of groundwater samples collected from monitoring wells MW-15A and MW-15C reported xylene concentrations of 0 7 ppb and 2 ppb, respectively These results are below California action levels for drinking water Analytical results of the most recent groundwater samples collected from the monitoring wells and domestic wells on April 2, 1993, reported concentrations of STEX and TPH-G below the MDLs, with the exception of the sample collected from MW-1 Xylene concentrations of 0 7 ppb were detected ' in the groundwater sample collected from MW-1 This result is below the California action levels for drinking water Table 2 presents the historical analytical data from 1991 to present Historical groundwater quality data from 1986 to 1990 is included In Appendix A 5.0 CONCLUSIONS 5.1 Analytical Results for Soil I The analytical results of soil samples collected from the nine confirmation soil borings reported BTEX and TPH-G concentrations below the MDLs with one exception xylene concentrations of 0 02 ppm were detected in the soil samples collected from Sod Boring C at 35 feet Concentrations of 1,2-dibromoethane were below the MDL of 0 2 ppm and lead concentrations ranged from 0 9 pprn to 4 1 ppm The analytical results of the confirmation soil bonngs are summarized in Table 3 and the laboratory reports are presented in Appendix F I 1211RO13 _ : GROUNDWATER i TECHNOLOGY, INC
