Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan <br /> Holz Rubber Company <br /> Therefore , there is potential to generate up to 1 ,800 pounds per month of used grit. This material is <br /> kept in drums in the hazardous waste storage area, identified by building 19 on the Site Map located <br /> in Appendix A. <br /> Additional wastes generated at the Site include RCRA hazardous cement overspray and used filters <br /> from cement overspray. In addition , the following California hazardous wastes are generated at the <br /> Site : rubber pieces with emulsion , wastewater / oil, unusable paint, and used oil . The culmination of <br /> these generated waste streams categorizes the Site as a California large quantity generator of hazardous <br /> waste. However, the facility is not a RCRA large quantity generator of hazardous waste . <br /> Hazardous waste containers are appropriately labeled and stored in either satellite accumulation areas <br /> near the point of generation , or placed in the long term hazardous waste storage area . Aqueous wastes <br /> are stored within secondary containment pallets . Containers of hazardous wastes are stored at the. Site <br /> no longer than 90 days and are shipped off- site by a licensed transporter to a licensed disposal facility. <br /> Based on laboratory analytical data , the following federal waste codes are potentially applicable : D001 , <br /> D002, D006 , D007 , D0085 D010 , and F005 The following state waste codes are potentially applicable : <br /> 181 212 , 331 , and 791 . <br /> 2 . Emergency Coordinator and Procedures <br /> This section outlines the emergency procedures to be used in the event of Fire , explosion , or hazardous <br /> waste release . <br /> 2 . 1 Emergency Coordinator — 40 CFR 262 . 264, 22 CCR 66264 . 55 <br /> The Emergency Coordinator has overall responsibility for emergency response , including spill <br /> response , at the facility and has authority to mobilize personnel and equipment from departments and <br /> off- site organizations , as required, to handle spills of hazardous waste . Contact information for the <br /> Primary and Alternate Emergency Coordinators is provided in the table below. Either the Emergency <br /> Coordinator or an Alternate will be present on the facility's premises or on call (i. e . available to respond <br /> to an emergency by reaching the facility within a short period of time) . <br /> 3 <br /> i <br /> I <br />
