SAN JOAQUIN <br />CC LJ N T Y ------- <br />Environmental Health Department <br />RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />Facility Address: <br />Date: <br />AMAZON.COM SERVICES, INC-SMF3 <br />3923 S B ST, STOCKTON <br />March 02, 2020 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />303 <br />CCR 66265.33 Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination equipment. <br />OBSERVATION: An eyewash was observed outside the hazardous waste storage cage with an expiration date of <br />05/2019. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br />its proper operation in time of emergency. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the eyewash into proper working order by repair, replacement or testing. Provide a <br />corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br />were: <br />-Three cubic yard cardboard boxes of waste soaps and latex paint were observed in the hazardous waste storage <br />cage without hazardous properties on the labels. <br />-One 30 gallon blue plastic drum of waste toners was observed in the hazardous waste storage cage without <br />hazardous properties on the label. <br />-One 30 gallon black plastic drum of waste antifreeze was observed in the hazardous waste storage cage without <br />hazardous properties on the label. <br />-One black plastic 55 gallon drum of waste canola/mineral oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage cage <br />without hazardous properties on the label. <br />-One black plastic 5 gallon bucket of oily debris was observed in the hazardous waste storage cage without <br />hazardous properties on the label. <br />-One black plastic 5 gallon bucket of waste ammonium sulfide solution was observed in the hazardous waste <br />storage cage without physical state on the label. This was corrected on site. <br />-One black plastic 5 gallon bucket of broken mercury lamps was observed in the hazardous waste storage cage <br />without hazardous properties on the label. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
