As discussed, the Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> has received concurrence from CVRWQCB indicating that the City of Tracy site referenced above is ready for closure and <br /> the destruction of ail monitoring wells was ordered by the EHD dated December 7, 2011 (attached). The City of Tracy is <br /> requesting that the four monitoring wells located on site remain intact for future sampling until contamination from old <br /> Chevron petroleum pipelines that cross the site is resolved. <br /> If determination is made there was petroleum contamination from the old Chevron pipelines that cross the site, please <br /> respond with recommendations to the EHD and copy to Paul Verma, City of Tracy, 333 Civic Center Plaza,Tracy, CA <br /> 95376,The EHD will respond accordingly. <br /> I have attached the letter from CVRWQCB, site information for 560 Tracy Blvd including parcel specifications, <br /> correspondence from the City of Tracy and the parcel information for the TAOC Tracy Rail Yard. Included in the <br /> attachments is a public release application. Please complete high-lighted areas, sign and return to me.
