I <br /> Chevron Products Company 4 <br /> Chevron SS#9-8264,3775 Tracy Boulevard,Tracy,CA December 29, 1997 <br /> groundwater "grab" samples will be analyzed for the presence of TPH-g, TPH-d, BTEX <br /> compounds, methyl tertiary butyl ether (MtBE), tertiary butanol, DIPS, ETBE, TAME, <br /> and methanol and ethanol. <br /> • Stratigraphic Information. Stratigraphic information will be collected during <br /> the drilling of borings at the site and will be logged by a SECOR geologist. Two <br /> geologic cross sections will be prepared (cro-s-s--gradient and parallel togradient). <br /> • Search of Utility and Well Locations. SECOR will conduct a search of <br /> underground utility locations which may influence the transport of contaminants. <br /> Additionally, SECOR will conduct a search of well records for groundwater wells <br /> within '/z-mile of the site if not previously conducted. <br /> • Soil Cuttings,Well Debris, and Rinse Water. Soil cuttings generated during <br /> the destruction process will be properly disposed of at an appropriate landfill by an <br /> approved Chevron contractor within 30 days of generation. The cuttings will be stored <br /> on plastic sheeting onsite until removed. Rinse water that may be generated from the <br /> washing of augers will be stored in 55-gallon DOT drums onsite and removed and <br /> recycled by an approved Chevron contractor. The drums will be removed within 30 <br /> days of generation. <br /> • Report. A report will be prepared after completion of necessary field work. <br /> The report will include soil boring field logs, soil boring location map, soil and <br /> groundwater analytical results, chain-of-custody documentation, findings, copies of I <br /> applicable permits, cross section diagrams, and a map of water supply wells within a 1/z- <br /> mile radius of the site. <br /> Field and laboratory procedures are presented as Attachment A. <br /> I <br /> Project Schedule <br /> SECOR is prepared to initiate field work within 2 weeks following approval of this j <br /> work plan and issuance of permits by the City of Tracy and the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services. A report documenting the findings of the soil boring and {' <br /> groundwater monitoring well installation, Stratigraphic information, historical and <br /> utility reviews and aerial photo review is anticipated to be submitted approximately <br /> 8 to 12 weeks after the commencement of field work and upon completion laboratory F <br /> analysis.
