V
April 3, 2014
Charanjit S. & Davinder K. Jutla
3940 N. Tracy Boulevard Page 2 of 2
Tracy, CA 95304
the active station at 3775 N. Tracy Blvd. has been toward the northeast and occasionally toward
the northwest, and the station at 3725 N. Tracy Blvd. has the predominant maximum gradient
direction toward the northwest. Your site is between these sites and the EHD is concerned that the
groundwater sampling points may actually be in the upgradient or obliquely upgradient direction
from the impacted soil. With several active domestic water wells west and northwest of your site,
the EHD must be confident that the potential for TPHd impact to groundwater has been adequately
assessed to protect those wells, therefore the EHD directs you to prepare and submit to the EHD a
brief work plan to complete the assessment of groundwater potentially impacted by the UAR from
your underground storage tank system. Submit the work plan no later than 16 June 2014. The
EHD is of the opinion that grab groundwater samples collected from a shallow coarse-grained unit
in the saturated zone west and northwest of the impacted dispenser area should be adequate to
characterize groundwater for closure consideration.
If you have any questions or comments please contact Angelica Marin at (209) 468-2807 or by
email at amarin s' om
Angelica Marin, REHS Nuel C.
