(AGE) prepared this <br /> letter for ground water discharge under Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB)-order R5-2008-0182 for the property located at 15406 South Tracy Boulevard, <br /> Stockton,California(site). AGE is applying for a low threat waiver for water discharge as a type of <br /> discharge fitting between categories 5, 8 and 11. Additionally, the discharge will be a one time, <br /> limited volume discharge of approximately 15,000-gallons of containerized ground water. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The site and surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Aerial photographs showing the extent of <br /> the Yamada Brothers' Farm(Assessor's Parcel Number 189-170-07),and access roads to be dusted <br /> are included in Figure 2.On-site structures,monitoring well locations,and the 20,000-gallon Baker <br /> Tank are illustrated in Figure 3. <br /> The site is currently an active leaking underground storage tank(LUST)aquifer release investigation <br /> under the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's(EHD)local oversight program. <br /> Under the direction and supervision of Mr. Harlin Knoll of the EHD, AGE conducted an <br /> approximate 15,000-gallon ground water batch removal between 24 August and 23 September 2009 <br /> from ground water monitoring well MW-4 utilizing a pneumatic electric air compressor and a <br /> submersible, fluid pneumatic extraction pump manufactured by QED (model AP-2) in efforts to <br /> mitigate the remaining hydrocarbon mass reported in samples collected from the well since initiation <br /> of quarterly ground water monitoring of well MW-4 in June 2004. <br /> Well MW-4 was installed at the site in April 2004, and was single-completed as a ground water <br /> monitoring well utilized in determining the lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impact west of the former <br /> 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 95215 <br /> Telephone (209) 467-1006 Fax (209) 467-1118 <br />
