Thorpe : „WFR P
Attached are three copies of the Addendum to the 1SC Winery
report .
We find that all contaminated soil has been removed from the
excavation and is still stored on-site, waiting for . remedi'`
ation .
We also find that the groundwater has not been impacted and
that no further efforts regarding danger to groundwater are
required.
.As you are aware, a final soil remediation plan is still re-
quired.
We recorrmend that the excavation be filled as soon as is
feasible to protect unauthorized persons that enter the site
; 'from possible harm; 'and to protect the groundwater from
,casual_ spilas etc. that might occur during soil remediation .
i
The three monitoring wells will eventually need to be plugged
with cement . Hunter & Associates do not feel that they are:,
of further use or that you should be -required to do further
• testing on these wells . However , that is a decision .that will
have to be made by the Department of Health Services.
Sincerely,
William J . Hunter & Associates
By :
Tennis R.
