T <br /> 08 August 2001 <br /> AGE--NC Project No 99-0657 <br /> Page 5of10 <br /> Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a State of California DHS-certified laboratory for the <br /> following constituents <br /> • TPH-g and TPH-d in accordance with EPA Methods 8015 Modified/5030 and 8015 <br /> Modified/3550, respectively, <br /> • BTEX compounds and MTBE in. accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br /> • Fuel oxygenated compounds including MTBE, TBA, DLPE, ETBE, TAME, EDB and <br /> 1,2-DCA by EPA Method 8260 Modified <br /> Laboratory reports for the soil analyses,testing methods,laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations <br /> 3 6 WELL COMPLETION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br /> iAt least five ground water monitoring wells will be installed at the site to further assess petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon impacted shallow ground water Proposed monitoring well locations are illustrated on <br /> Figure 2 Well locations are proposed to provide definition of the lateral extent of dissolved <br /> hydrocarbons Monitoring of the wells should provide data to detect dissolved plume migration <br /> Following well installation, each well will be developed to maximize water flow and mmuruze the <br /> amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing Procedures for well <br /> installation and development are presented In Sections 4 4 and 4 5,respectively The top of each well <br /> casing will also be surveyed by a licensed surveyor <br /> 3 7 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling of each newly installed ground water monitoring well will <br /> be conducted on a quarterly basis unless an alternate schedule or suspension of monitoring is <br /> approved by the PHS-EHD Ground water monitoring activities will include recording depth to <br /> groundwater measurements and collection ofground water samples Groundwater sample collection <br /> procedures are described in Section 4 7 3 <br /> Ground water samples will be analyzed by a State of California DHS-certified laboratory for the <br /> following constituents <br /> • EPA Methods 8015 Modified/5030 and 8015 Modified/3550 for TPH-g and TPH-d, <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
