INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Robert McCarty,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this <br /> work plan for investigation of the Plaza Liquors H site located at 2420 West Turner Road, Lodi, <br /> California (site) The Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan includes the installation of three <br /> additional first ground water monitoring wells and two deep-zone ground water monitoring wells <br /> The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 A plan of the site including structures and adjacent <br /> properties is illustrated on Figure 2 The site background information is provided in Appendix A <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has concurred with AGE's <br /> recommendation for additional site assessment of the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon- <br /> impacted ground water associated with the former operation of underground storage tanks(UST) at <br /> the site and have requested a work plan be prepared This Work Plan was prepared In accordance <br /> with California Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (RWQCB) <br /> guidelines for the investigation of UST sites <br /> • 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> To assess the vertical and lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impacted ground water on the site, <br /> completion of the following tasks is required <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities, <br /> • Advancement of soil borings and completion as ground water monitoring wells, <br /> • Development and survey of the monitoring wells, <br /> • Collection of ground water samples, <br /> • Laboratory analysis of samples, and <br /> • Preparation of a report of findings <br /> Each of these tasks are described in more detail below <br /> 21 PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> A site assessment boring permit will be obtained from the EHD for each bonng location A health <br /> . and safety plan has been prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Guidance <br /> Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Advanced Geo E nvi ron mental,Inc <br />
