Proposed stripping tower are substantially below the 5 lb/day limit, the <br /> air stripping permit application will. be submitted with no proposed vapor <br /> control equipment. <br /> The stripping tower permit application will be submitted with the soil <br /> venting permit application and is expected to be processed under the same <br /> general time frame. Air stripping emissions calculations will be <br /> submitted with the permit application to assist the Air District in <br /> evaluating the proposed stripping system performance. <br /> -- Discharge of treated groundwater to an infiltration gallery or to recharge <br /> wells will require a waste discharge permit from the Central Valley <br /> Regional ;later Quality Control Board (RWQCB). It is anticipated that <br /> waste discharge permit processing will require 8 to 12 weeks. <br /> REMEDIAL ACTION PLAN IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE <br /> The remedial action plan for soil and groundwater cleanup presented in <br /> this report will be implemented according to the schedule presented on <br /> Figure 12. The schedule will commence upon approval from the regulatory <br /> agencies to proceed. The air emissions permit applications to the 51CAPCD <br /> will also be submitted as soon as regulatory approval of this remedial <br /> action plan is granted. Installation and construction of the soil venting <br /> wells, the groundwater extraction wells, conveyance systems and treatment <br /> facilities will take approximately three months to complete after the air <br /> emissions permits have been issued. <br /> A <br /> r <br /> 25 <br />
